Scramble Kings
Scramble King mixes the whole player pool into fresh courts and teams every round, then plays King of the Court within each court for the round's duration. Two players form a team and stay together for the whole round, cycling on and off the court as they win or lose — only the team currently on court can score.
When a round's timer runs out, everyone is mixed again into new courts and new partners for the next round.
If a court ends up with an odd number of players, the leftover player still gets their own team and queues just like everyone else — only their partner is decided differently: a fixed random partner for the whole round (Placeholder), or a fresh fairness-balanced partner each time they're on court (Jumper).
Add your players, set the number of rounds and courts, and go.
Best for
- Groups who love both social mixing and competitive court play
- Sessions where you want constant rotation without a full tournament bracket
- Events with an odd or uneven number of players — Placeholder and Jumper handle the leftovers automatically
