By accessing or using TournaQ ("the App"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all users of the App.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
📱 2. About the App
TournaQ is a scoring, games, and tournament management application developed by Martin Adam. The App is designed to help users track game scores, manage teams, and organise sports tournaments — primarily on mobile devices (iOS and Android).
The App operates locally on your device. No user account is required, and no app data is transmitted to external servers.
🔑 3. License to Use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on a device you own or control.
This licence does not include the right to:
- Sublicence, sell, resell, or transfer the App or any part of it
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
💾 4. Your Data and Content
All game data, match scores, team names, and player information you enter into TournaQ is stored locally on your device. You retain full ownership of this data.
We do not access, collect, transmit, or use any content you create within the App. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your device secure.
Deleting the App or clearing its data will permanently remove all locally stored information. We cannot recover this data on your behalf.
🚫 5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems related to the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
- Distribute, reproduce, or exploit the App's content without permission
📢 6. Advertising
The App may display advertisements through Google AdMob. The App may display non-personalized advertisements through Google AdMob; you may manage your privacy preferences via Contact & About → Privacy Options within the App.
We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Google AdMob's use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
🎨 7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App — including its design, graphics, name "TournaQ", logo, and source code — are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
You may not use the TournaQ name, logo, or any other branding elements without prior written permission.
⚠️ 8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable EU law, Martin Adam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable EU consumer law.

The App may contain links to external websites or services (e.g. Instagram, Google Feedback Forms). These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over external sites and accept no responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or terms.
⚖️ 11. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union applicable to the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable EU consumer protection laws, including the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
