TournaQ Platform

The competition engine behind your event — for platforms, clubs and federations.

The TournaQ Idea

Event management platforms already own registration, payments, ticketing and participant communication — and they do it well. TournaQ is not built to replace any of that. It picks the event up at the first whistle and hands the results straight back.

Your platform

Before the event

  • Registration
  • Payments & ticketing
  • Participant comms
  • Event pages
TournaQ

On the day

  • Draw & schedule
  • Courts & rounds
  • Live scoring
  • Standings & brackets
Your platform

After the event

  • Final results
  • Rankings
  • Website & archive
  • Reporting

One event, two systems, a clean handover in both directions — organisers keep the platform they already know and get a competition engine that works at the net.

A Competition Engine

TournaQ runs the competition itself, entirely on the device — no network, no account and no server required to do its job.

What TournaQ runs

Everything between the first whistle and the final result, working offline from start to finish.

  • Tournament setup, draws, courts and scheduling
  • Live scoring, corrections and match history
  • Standings, brackets and final rankings
  • Player, team and group library with export and import
  • QR code exchange of scorecards and results between devices
  • Multi-court tracking and withdrawal handling
By design

What TournaQ leaves to you

The event business stays where it already works. We have no plans to build any of this — it is your product, not ours.

  • Registration and entry management
  • Payments, ticketing and invoicing
  • Participant communication and mailings
  • Event pages, marketing and audience
  • Memberships, licences and eligibility
  • The relationship with the participant

The Integration Model

The intended integration is a two-way handover: an event platform passes in what it already knows, TournaQ runs the competition, and the results flow back automatically.

→ What your platform hands over

  • Event identity — name, date, venue
  • Participants: players, teams and categories
  • Format and competition rules
  • Court availability and time constraints
  • Seeding or ranking input, where it exists

← What TournaQ hands back

  • The generated draw and match schedule
  • Live match state while the event runs
  • Standings and bracket progression
  • Final results and placements
  • Ranking points and event statistics

These interfaces are being designed right now. If your platform would use this handover, — coming in early is how you make sure it fits your system when it lands.

How the handover travels

The app is offline, so the handover needs a route. Today that route is manual and already works. The next step is to make the same exchange automatic.

Manual exchange

  • QR code handover of scorecards and results between devices
  • File export and import of players, teams and groups
  • No infrastructure on either side — it works in a dead spot
In design

Automatic exchange

  • A hosted endpoint your system calls to push an event in
  • Draw, live match state and results pushed back to you
  • Devices at the venue reconciled once they see a network again

Design Principles

Offline First

Every essential function works without connectivity. Coverage at a beach venue is never a safe assumption, so it is never a dependency.

Connectivity Is Never Required

Anything connected adds reach, not risk. A failed exchange or a dead hotspot must never stop a match from being scored.

Open Interfaces

TournaQ is designed to connect. Organisers can keep the platform they already chose.

Standalone or Connected

Use the app on its own, exactly as it is. Or connect it to your system and hand players and results across. Both are complete ways to use TournaQ.

Data Stays With the Organiser

Offline, an event lives on the organiser's device. They decide what to share and with whom — or keep it all on the device and share nothing at all.

Practicality First

Features are shaped by what referees, scorekeepers and organisers actually need on the day of the event.

Connect Your Platform

We are building the handover interfaces now. If you run an event platform, a club system or a tour, get in touch — early partners help set the priorities, get first access when it ships, and keep a direct line to the team building it.
